Connexions Cornwall and Devon Ltd was set up to establish and run the government funded 'Careers' and subsequently 'Connexions' services. Additionally it manages the nextstep, DEBP and IiC contracts.
The nextstep information and advice service offers free information on learning and work to
anyone aged 20 and over.
Investors in Careers is a
quality standard for the
management of careers education in primary and secondary schools, FE colleges and training providers.
DEBP supports
young people in schools through their work experience programme, and has taken a lead in
engaging employers in the 14-19 curriculum and promoting enterprise activities.
