Health and safety
We want to ensure that all young people are safe in the workplace. One of the ways we do this is to check with you that you have current employer liability insurance and can quote the policy number and expiry date. If you do not have current employer liability insurance, you will need to contact an insurance company or broker to make necessary arrangements.
Before you take on a young person, a risk assessment needs to be carried out. If you recruit an Apprentice, the training provider you nominate will carry out a health and safety check.
