Leaving prison

If you've just left prison or a Young Offender's Institute, are homeless and over 18 the Probation Service will give you advice about what housing is available. If you're under 18, you should speak to the Youth Offending Service for information.

If you're on a Probation Order or a Licence and become homeless you must tell the Probation Service or Youth Offending Team as soon as you change addresses. If you don't, then your probation terms could be breached.

For more information on help with housing if you're an ex-offender, go to Nacro.
